How Anyone Can Improve Their Focus
The world is moving faster than ever.
You can connect with millions of people at any time.
Millions of companies are trying to get your attention (and your money) 24/7.
And on top of that…
You still gotta work and possibly even raise children.
Add the fact that all of that is happening at the same exact time…
And you’ll find that being able to focus is often like trying to get a toddler to sit still for more than 10 minutes…
Basically impossible.
But the thing is…
All of those things I listed above have one thing in common.
And improving your focus is as simple as removing that one thing from the equation.
And even though most people don’t do it…
It’s actually very, very easy to do.
And when you do it…
Your ability to focus gets so good that you start to wonder how you ever had so much trouble focusing in the first place.
You might even forget what not being able to focus feels like.
And the simple solution I’m talking about that will:
Cut off millions of people’s access to you
Make it impossible for millions of companies to constantly yank at your attention
Help you get work done quickly and efficiently
Have more free time to spend with your family
Is to break free from the insanely strong chokehold of your cell phone.
Your cell phone is the reason you can’t focus.
You’re always on it.
Your screen time is higher than the amount of time you spend working your full time job.
Of course you can’t focus.
So if you want to improve your focus instantly, put your phone down.
Bonus Exercise
If you’re addicted to your cell phone…
You probably have an emotional issue you need to work through.
If you don’t know how work through it…
In the “Circumstance” field, put “I’m addicted to my cell phone”.
In the “Action” field, put “I pull out my phone to occupy my mind”.
In the “Results” field, put “I can’t focus”.
Then fill out the thoughts and feelings sections.
After you do that, you’ll see exactly what feelings you’re having that make you habitually get on your phone.
And you’ll see what thoughts are causing those feelings.
After that, you can fill out the second part of the template which will help you see how you can stop feeling the need to be on your phone all the time.
And your focus will be 1000x better.
