Create Confidence In Your Abilities

One of the downsides of striving to be and do more in life is that there’s always more you can do.

Made it to 100 followers?

Good…

Now let’s see you get to 1000.

Published your first newsletter?

Great…

Now get people to read it.

The need to be and do better never stops.

And when you see other people doing the things you struggle to do, you start to feel like you aren’t good enough.

We see this a lot today with 1000000s of creators and entrepreneurs.

Everyone is always striving to make everything “perfect”.

But they play themselves in the process.

And it shows up in many ways:

  • Never committing to an idea

  • Taking forever to release a new project

  • Spending more time learning than doing

And ultimately, deep down all those things come from a place of self doubt.

But that doesn’t have to be you.

You can choose to be someone that trusts your own judgement, and be fully confident in your abilities.

So my challenge to you is simple…

The next time you feel yourself doubting an idea, or trying to talk yourself out of doing something you want to do…

Journal about it.

  1. Write down what the thing is that you want to do.

  2. Then write down the negative thoughts you’re having.

  3. Then ask yourself if those thoughts are true.

More times than not…

You’ll realize your negative thoughts are some straight up BS.

And realizing that is enough to help you move past them.

But if you wanna take this journaling practice to the next level, check out this Notion template I created.

It takes things a few steps further than the questions I listed above, and will help you create better thoughts and take more action.

Remember, growth comes from taking action.

So embrace the journey, and trust your judgement.

You got this.
